Response: I tried to log on today and it said banned for ESP. I know the reason why and its because one of my OLD teamates was found to be cheating and got a game ban from it and I was not aware of this at the time , i do enjoy playing on the server and just wondering if there is a way to apply for a possible lift on my ban, if not no problem I fully understand why and dont condone cheating , and dont play with this player anymore after that happened . thanks for taking the time to read my message.
All of your information provided appears to be correct, but just for the record, I will explain the situation below.
You (named “BIG DICK ENERGY” at the time) were teamed with a cheating user (Pappa Teste) who was caught cheating by myself. I watched as both you and your teammate camped and assaulted a team looting a fresh airdrop, after an exchange of words, you both left the area and headed towards the supermarket monument nearby, where I then caught Pappa cheating with his ESP. As you were his teammate at the time, I banned you for the same reason (Although I now realise my mistake and will update the ban notification to “Hacker Association” instead of ESP). Pappa Teste was then reported to Facepunch via F7 and got gamebanned a few hours later, while both of you were banned from the server on the spot.
Proof was provided to the Rust Admins and Server Owner (Red Team) at time of ban. Proof is also available on request, however as it contains sensitive information about the server, I will leave it at the owners discretion to be made public.
Our rules (located here: https://namelessrust.com/rules) state that hacking is not tolerated at all, as well as our rules stating that players associated with cheaters will also be banned. I’m honestly sorry for this as you may or may not have known he was cheating at the time, but I’m afraid that the rules are there to keep the server safe and hackers out.
