How to move all my personal data of COD4 to a new PC?

Hi there.
I have bought a new PC, and want to move all my mpdata to the new one,
both of the COD4 and the COD4xmod,
Does anyone know how to do?

Also could an admin tell me the last 4 code of my CDkey of the user FakCampers?

By “bought a new pc” do you mean an entire system or every part individually? If the latter, you could install your old HDD and copy paste all files onto your current storage, or just keep the drive in. If you bought a whole new system, you could open it up and do the same thing laid out above, just google how to install a hard drive and you’ll find all the necessary steps. Good Luck!

An entire new one.
dont know how to put and load my mp data from the old one…

The easiest way would be to transfer the entire data of your COD4 folder onto an external harddrive and then swap to the other computer (or transfer through a network to save the “middle man” of USB/External Harddrive), but that might have issues depending on if you’re running a legit cod4 steam version, or one of these “NoSteam”/Cracked versions.

If you’re running a steam version, install steam and COD4 first, then copy all the data over and rewrite the currently installed data, that way steam still knows COD4 exists and has been installed, but doesn’t take a dump if something goes wrong.

For cracked versions, you’d be better off actually downloading the game, cause it’s safer that way.

Windows: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 4\players\profiles, or wherever your folder is located (right-click the shortcut and go to Open File Location), and copy the ‘profiles’ folder. It should contain a folder with your player name, which contains config files and mpdata. The mpdata is your stats file. Make sure to also save the mpdata.corrupt file if there is one. When you reinstall, first start playing a game, must enter a server. Second, exit the game then replace the profiles folder with the saved original. Total files you should save are config_mp.cfg, mpdata, and mpdata.corrupt. Not sure why the .corrupt file is necessary but it is. These same files are interchangeable between cod4 and cod4x, just replace them in pertaining locations. I also suggest saving your servercache.dat file, which contains all your favorited servers, though i’m not entirely sure where it is originally saved. I think alone in main cod4 folder but perhaps also in AppData folder.

Make sure your //same// Multiplayer key code is already typed in and verified in-game. If it is not, it will reset your stats. Sometimes it still resets them, just try again. Usually works the second time for me. The mpdata is linked only to your distinct key code. Key code can be found in Options->Multiplayer, but it is automatically entered if using a Steam version.

Cod4x: the same process applies, but the folder is now located in Appdata\Local\CallofDuty4MW. If you are using Steam: it is also important to replace your newly downloaded iw3mp.exe file with your old one, or else cod4x will not work. Otherwise you can download the required iw3mp.exe from https://eu.cybergamer.com/files/6412/ , which is found under the official Cod4x Steam Repair Guide, https://cod4x.me/index.php?/announcement/5-steam-cod4-repair-guide/.
